Returns policy

If you purchase something from us, it arrives and you just don't like it, you must return it within 7 days and we will happily refund your money providing the item is in its original condition. (Faulty items do not have to be returned in original condition - see below).

You can cancel or return your order within 7 days without reason. We will refund your money, less any shipping charges, within 21 days. You are required to return the goods and have a responsibility to take care of those goods whilst in your control.

Unless the goods are faulty or were sent in error you will bear any costs in returning the goods. You will be responsible for any carriage or legal costs we incur in retrieving the item(s) should you not return them. Make sure you pack things well and send the parcel by some method where you will get a signature on delivery.

It's damaged!

If an item arrives damaged or faulty, or we have sent you the wrong item in error, we will of course replace it and refund you the cost of the return postage.

You must notify us of any damage or error within 7 days of receipt. If you do not want the item replaced, make sure you mention this in your return e-mail and you will be refunded in full upon return of the item to us.

To return an item - follow these 4 simple steps and we can make sure you get your refund or credit note as soon as possible.

1) E-mail: return@canvasbydesign.co.uk telling us what you want to return. Include your name, order reference number and e-mail address. List the item code and price and the reason for return.

2)  Within 24 hours, a returns number will be e-mailed back to you for use
       on the return address. This number is valid for 7 days from issue.  
       After that time, a new returns number will need to be requested.

3)    Pack up the item well and include a copy of the delivery note that you 
       received with the parcel and our returns e-mail in with the item.

Make sure you put your name and address on the back of the parcel.

4)  Take the item to the post office and get a proof of posting receipt or ask to send the parcel by recorded delivery. Keep your receipt or barcode in a safe place.
